Atlantic City - Brigantine Connector Project -

Project Description

This project includes:  The connector roadway and related highway appurtenances, approximately 10 bridges, the covered section, realignment of Route 30, widening of Huron Avenue, widening and rehabilitation of some abutting arterials, new intersections and related traffic control systems.  Ancillary components include reconstruction of bulkhead along the east shore of Penrose Canal, the addition of at least one pedestrian bridge over the Canal, a new park between Horace J. Bryant Boulevard and the Canal and visual screens/noise barriers along both the Canal and the Boulevard during construction.
