Richard Hale Chairman Award

The New Jersey Alliance for Action recently held its 46th annual Eagle Awards Celebration, which recognizes individuals and firms for their dedication and contribution towards improving the state’s economy.  Six awards were handed out to representatives from business, labor, engineering and government. The 2020 awardees were as follows:

• Sigurd Lucassen Labor Award – NJ LECET & ELEC
• John L. Buzzi Engineering Excellence Award – Steven Plate, Chief of Major Capital Projects, The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey
• Richard Hale Chairman’s Award – Barbara Armand Kushner, President and CEO, Armand Corporation
• Ellis S. Vieser Lifetime Achievement Award – Neil Van Cleef, Founder, Van Cleef Engineering Associates
• President’s Award – Stephen F. Dougherty, Executive Director, South Jersey Transportation Authority
• Walter Rand South Jersey Award – Kevin Becica, County Engineer, Camden County 

Women play a vital role in all aspects of our society, including but not limited to their influence in local business and governmental agencies. Our CEO, Barbara, was honored by the NJ Alliance for Action and received the Richard Hale Chairman’s Award. We are proud to have a leader that is such a prime example of professionalism, integrity, and devotion in our local community.
